 Mold Flow Analysis: Weld Lines
Weld lines (knit lines or meld lines) are represented by red lines and are formed when
two melt fronts traveling in opposite directions meet. Air traps are represented by blue
spheres and are commonly caused by lack of, or undersized vents. The air traps and weld
lines can by displayed on any of the model results.
